I have not spoken into what has been a hot topic lately on FB, and I’m sure this may have been touched on somewhat about those just seeking after signs and Wonders and miracles without any concern for purity and holiness! But I believe there’s more to it than that!
I believe the deeper problem is that our current “church system” is OUT OF ORDER! 90% of the church as we know it, is still enamored with the term “Revival! Ministers are selling out for “miracle manifestations” in an effort to build their ministries or draw a crowd and that opens the door for “strange fire” and perverse spirits!!
James 3:16 says “For where self-seeking and selfish ambition is, there is confusion and every evil work.”
The wrong motives for revival that reveal pride and arrogance also spark a sense of “entitlement” to those who are so intent on “reaching the whole world” when God never ordained one man, ministry, or organization to reach the world! They begin to believe they can do no wrong and not held to the same standards as everyone else!
Because of those motives and attitudes, men begin to say “God told me” and emphasize certain manifestations in their meetings that they are above reproach or question! You cannot question them, they say, because God told them! Mature fathers must say, “God did not say that to you”, and bring correction!
Yes, a lack of true Fathers is a big problem but besides that, many have forsaken the true order of Fathers and Sons for big ministry relationships that are at best big brothers or mentors! Nothing wrong with big brothers and mentors but there is something wrong with the “idolatry” of super-star ministry in the church as we know it!!
Generational ministry and synergy of the relationships bring about more than an awakening or revival to stir up the people, it perpetuates the restoration of biblical order that the kingdom of God is first and foremost the plan and purpose of God in the earth!! Where the kingdom is preached, disciples are made, and where disciples are made, comes the proper order of fathers and sons!
The restoration of the order of God first brings a “revolution” before it brings a full reformation in the Ekklesia! As long as we keep seeking after signs and stay performance based with sensationalism, we will stay out of the order of the kingdom!
The five facets of Eph. 4:11 and I. Co. 12:28 are not a hierarchy, but they are an order, rank, and foundation for true ministry and sons to be raised up! It’s not a top-heavy organization, but a foundational building of “first things first” so that nothing will be left out. The key to the proper order of signs and wonders and miracles is found in vs. 28- Now God hath set in the church (ekklesia) first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, AFTER THAT, gifts of healings, miracles, helps, governments, and diversity of tongues….
When the gifts and governments line up in divine kingdom order, self-promotion and ambitious novices will no longer have access to the people, and mature fathers will be responsible with not just teaching but leading by examples to those allotted to their charge! (I. Peter 5:1-5)
We must have relational councils and meetings of apostles and elders and brethren where there can come a general consensus in Zion that the Holy Spirit has spoken and where brethren come into divine alignment and order with what He has spoken!
For apostolic order,
A NEW SOUND BEING RELEASED FOR A NEW ERA IN APOSTOLIC MINISTRY!
A true corporate unity such as kingdom hubs in a city/region, especially here in the greater Houston, Texas area, must transcend all man-made barriers, including creeds, cultures, gender, racial and religion!
All pre-conceived prejudices concerning power, politics, and popularity must die!! Only a true prophetic kingdom culture with apostolic alignment/assignments can prevail… we are in a new day and a new season to hear a NEW SOUND!
It will start first with councils and counsel of Apostolic fathers and City elders from a diverse section of the body of Christ!! It must also extend beyond our own ministry networks, affiliation, and “close friends” in ministry… it will “S t r e t c h” us and cause us to lose our own agendas and comfort zones. CAN YOU HEAR THE SOUND?
Take time to read, very good by my friend Apostle Greg Crawford…
The problem we deal with in this hour is the overlap from that which is false and that which is true. The false has taken on the image of or likeness of that which is true. Much like a counterfeit painting the image is made to appear to be authentic, even to the point of deception. The better the counterfeit the greater the deception until the counterfeit can replace the original painting, and no one will notice.
To a large degree this is occurring through the mystics and new age influences. Many have adopted christian language and many move in spiritual principles. Many also have taken on the image of good wholesome actions and approaches. White magic, wicca and a host of other things are capturing a generation with promises of change, power, and a place of influence upon the earth. There are many cults masked with christian type faces…

We all know that the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is an historical, physical and symbolic fact and truth. But when we make it just an event and/or a day or week to celebrate it, we lose the most powerful truth of all! The feast of Passover to us now is primarily a spiritual fulfillment of the lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Christ is the fulfilling of the Passover!!
You can figure out if there were two Sabbath days that week, if he was crucified on Wednesday or Friday, and keep the Sabbath with a Sedar meal to celebrate the feast. You can call it Easter or Passover, you can argue it was a literal three days and three nights or two days and He rose on the third day! (Friday-Sunday)You can argue days and Sabbath’s and moons but these are all types and shadows of Christ! (Col. 2:16,17)
When Jesus was coming towards John the Baptist in John 1:29, he announced Him, saying, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” He certainly wasn’t talking about a little wooly animal! 🐑Jesus is the fulfillment of the Lamb of God. 🔑🔥🔑
When Jesus was talking about himself as the bread of life and being the living bread which came down heaven, He wasn’t referring to natural bread. He said in John 6:51-53- “If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever: and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”
He went on to say to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.” In verse 60, the disciples when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying, who can understand it?” Jesus told them, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:60-63)
Paul declared in I. Cor. 15:1-4 that the death, burial and resurrection of Christ is the whole basis for the gospel, and the whole point of the gospel is that He was raised from the dead, and if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen, and our faith is in vain, or empty!
So, do we keep the feast and celebrate His resurrection? Yes!! Earlier in I. Cor. 5:7,8 Paul declared this: Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you are truly unleavened. FOR INDEED CHRIST, OUR PASSOVER, WAS SACRIFICED FOR US. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, not with the leaven of malice and wickedness, BUT WITH THE UNLEAVENED BREAD OF SINCERITY AND TRUTH.
I think we all can agree that our Lord Jesus suffered an excruciating and horrible death on the cross. Yet He, who for the joy that was set before Him endured (went through) the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Heb. 12:2)
In a day where everyone wants the easy way, no hardships and no sacrifices, why do we enable people to feel so comfortable about their lives? What if we made the way to Christ difficult, like denying one’s self and taking up their cross and following Him daily?
What about counting the cost and serving others instead of ourselves? What if we made our services so focused on Christ that we didn’t care if they could find the building or whether we had children’s church or not, and no one to greet them at the door? What if we didn’t try to make the gospel or ourselves so attractive?
Now, my disclaimer here, everyone that knows me knows I’m not a hard, overbearing legalist trying to send everybody to hell! Actually, I’m just the opposite, I believe in mega grace and “mercy and truth” sweetly blended! I guess I’m saying why don’t we just “get real” and realize that the “search” for Him is not an easy path and most of us in reality find Him in crisis!! (2 Co. 4:6-8)
Now, to throw most of you off, what if when we come into the fellowship of the saints, there was so much love, so much pure hunger, and so much raw truth that people actually wanted what we had and saw that we were all just real people with real flaws?
Why don’t we make it hard for people to enter the kingdom by showing them how “uncomfortable” we all are in losing our lives and finding His life after losing all? Like, as in, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you. (Matt. 6:33)
And then, the real kicker: Why don’t we make it so easy for people to leave, that we love them so purely that no matter what they do or don’t do, there is no condemnation or offense?!? Then we can just let them go with no strings attached and without ulterior motives?
Just my musing in the midnight hour…. ❤️🦅😍
