  1. Jim, I appreciate your word on Israel and I share in your belief that we, the church, are the true Israel of God. Of course our Father is the original multi-tasker and is quite capable of doing things in the spirit that mirror, or are mirrored by, things in the natural. I have been reading some studies in Revelations lately and I see so many things that are taught are merely the doctrine and opinion of men. The very word “apocalypse” is such a perjorative term that it frightens most people and all it means is the revealing of Jesus. What could possibly be less scary than that? When Hollywood has ideas about the antichrist and the escatological implications of Revelations you can bet that they are wrong! Only by the Spirit of God are these things revealed and His truth is made manifest. I found that the “pale” horse of the apocalypse simply means green. As in the story of the feeding of the loaves and fishes our Lord told them to sit on the green, chloros, grass. But it is always the way of Babalon to use fear instead of love and grace. Forgive my rambling on, but we as His people must learn to use wisdom and discernment in all of these matters. Progressive revelation does not preclude that “God is the same yesterday today and tomorrow.”It simply means that our understanding of Him is ever increasing. Our views of the end times have fostered an atmosphere and an attitude of escapism. Our God is not a just barely God! He is Lord of all and we need to appropriate that into our everyday lives. When it comes to our pet doctrines on Israel or end times we must be willing to be taught HIS truth as it is being revealed in us through His prophets and apostles. I sense that you are truly listening to His voice and are sensitive to his Spirit and I praise God for your clarity and your commitment and your class in presenting your part of our glorious Savior’s revelation.     Faith Statement
    Bible:

    The Bible, both the Old and New Testament, is the only infallible authority concerning God. It was revealed to men through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

    God:

    There is one God, omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent, revealed in the three persons of the trinity- Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

    Jesus:

    Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh – a fact proven by His virgin birth, sinless life, His works and words, His sacrificial atoning death on the cross, His defeat of the forces of darkness in hell, His bodily resurrection, His appearances to His disciples and His ascension to the right hand of the Father.
    (Luk 1:26-38, Isa 7:17, Heb 4:15, Joh 14:9-11, Gal 1:4, Col 2:15, Luk 24, Col 3:1)
    Holy Spirit:

    The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is available to all believers and is freely given to all those who ask for it.
    (Act 2:1-4; Luk 11:13)
    The Baptism of the Holy Spirit empowers each believer to do the works of Jesus Christ. It is further evidenced by the manifestation of spiritual gifts.
    (Joh 14:12; Act 2: 1; 1 Cor 12: 4-11)
    Cross:

    We are only made acceptable to God because of Jesus’s work on the cross. Jesus died the death that we deserve on the cross and by belief in him, our sins are forgiven but only because of his sacrifice.
    (Phil 2:6-11, Heb. 1:4)
    Salvation:

    The only means of salvation from eternal damnation and to the life eternal with God in Paradise is by accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior. In accepting Jesus, an individual’s human spirit is born of God by the regenerative power of the Holy Spirit.
    (Rom 10:9-10, Act 4:12, John 3:3-8, 2 Cor 5:17)
    The Church:

    The Church, as the bride of Christ, will be caught up to meet Jesus in the air at the time appointed by God the Father.
    (I Thess 4:16-18, Act 1:11)
    Great Commission:

    The Church’s purpose is to be God’s representative figure here on this earth; to bring the Good News of salvation to the lost; to heal the sick and to set the captives free from the bondage of the evil one; and to re-establish the Kingdom of God.
    (2 Cor 5:18-20, Acts 1:8, Matt 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-18, Luke 11:1-4)
    Judgement:

    We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and lost, in divine judgments, rewards and punishments.
