Look unto Jesus, and pursue His presence!

Leadership change is inevitable like never before as we approach 2016, and incumbent upon us to make necessary changes to fulfil Jesus’ command and commission! Yet we should not only be changed for His commission but that we might be “Conformed to His image,,, that He (Jesus) might be the firstborn (firstfruits) among many brethren…” (Romans 8:29) (Rev. 1:5,6)

Transformation is necessary for us to make these changes, so that we won’t become “robotic” in our procedures and protocols, and miss the heart of the Father! We must not be conformed to this present age, but be “transformed by the renewing of our minds…” (Romans 12:2) Our worship must be in ‘spirit and in truth’, so that we can be ‘living sacrifices, holy, acceptable unto God, which is our “spiritual act of worship…” (Romans 12:1)

Finally, we must see “JESUS!” Jesus Christ is the “architect, builder, design, and pattern” of the church, and it is built upon His kingdom… But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than {Elohim), for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone. (Hebrews 2:9)

Heb. 12:2- looking unto Jesus (look away from… and gaze upon), the author (pioneer) and finisher (perfecter) of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
