A TIME OF WAR!!!

Our apostolic “WAR” room where the great eagle is looking down on us, as the “Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings:” (Mal. 4:2) The pic right at the top of the eagle days “Moving from fellowship to War…” We bought the DVD a few weeks ago and watched “The War Room” and it is a great movie! But I thank God for our heritage, for praying grand-parents and parents who knew how to pray and get answers from the Lord, even if it was NO!! You might not appreciate the “old-time Pentecostals” but churches then had a dedicated prayer room, not only at church but at home. Your altar and prayer room is wherever you and God make covenant!!

But the most important thing is, and Pam and I live it, your “War Room” is really wherever you and God are, because “as He is, so are we in this world.” I found “Moving from fellowship to War” pic back sometime ago, and don’t even remember how or where I got it! But it certainly fits today, because being a “social club” won’t do it anymore, just having good services and good entertainment won’t cut it!! The apostolic is a “ministry of WAR!” THE WEAPONS OF OUR WARFARE ARE NOT CARNAL, BUT MIGHTY THROUGH THE PULLING DOWN OF STRONGHOLDS…. (2 Co. 10:4)

Paul exhorted his son Timothy, “This charge I commit (entrust ) to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which have gone before you, that by them you may “wage the good warfare…” (2 -Tim. 1:18) “Warfare”, strateia, military service, i.e, the apostolic career (as one of hardship and danger): warfare. From, to serve in a military campaign; to execute the Apostolate, (with its arduous duties and functions), to contend with carnal inclinations: –soldier, (go to) war (-fare).

This is the time of War! But we’re not wrestling against flesh and blood…it is a spiritual war that is already won in the heavenlies, we must simply “enter into His rest, and war, rule and reign, from the finished work and victory of our Lord Jesus Christ!!! I. Co. 15:58- Therefore, my beloved brethren, be stedfast, inmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Rev. 21:5-7- Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son…”
