Ps. 27:1,11-14- The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? Of whom shall I be afraid? Teach me Your way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of my enemies. Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; for false witnesses have risen against me, and such as breathe out violence.
I WOULD HAVE LOST HEART, UNLESS I HAD BELIEVED THAT I WOULD SEE THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD IN THE LAND OF THE LIVING. WAIT ON THE LORD; BE OF GOOD COURAGE, AND HE SHALL STRENGTHEN YOUR HEART; WAIT, I SAY, ON THE LORD!
I. Co. 16:9- For a great and effectual door has opened to me, and there are many adversiaries.
Dear Loved Ones and friends!
Pam and I thank God for you and for another year of His goodness and grace! This passage of scripture is about David’s battle with fleshly and adversarial enemies in his quest for his kingdom. Then, Paul the apostle talked about the adversaries of the apostolic call and mandate. It seemed through about the first nine months of the year 2019, there were many “adversarial” things going on, but it wasn’t a”fleshly” battle against flesh or blood, or even fighting against the devil! It was as Paul wrote to His ministry son Timothy in I. Tim. 1;18- This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that be them you may wage the good warfare.” ( the apostolic call, career, commission, and campaign to extend the kingdom of God and his military warfare!)
When I thought some of the things we were facing were about to get the best of us, and as David said, “I would have fainted…”, our Father God came through with some powerful adjustments in our lives that helped us shift out of what I perceived to be some “overwhelming” situations. On Sept. 29, we had a fifth Sunday meeting a with a core group of elders and sons that, in a time of transparency and honesty, the LORD broke some things off of our backs that began a healing and special process!!
For the next three months leading up to last night, Dec. 29, another fifth Sunday special “Heart of the Father” meeting, we saw a culmination of a great process, purpose and powerful presence of the Father manifest in our lives! Pam and I have always trusted the LORD and believed in his supply as we gave our very souls for the kingdom, and the restoration of His divine order and authority!
We opened up the meeting on very short notice to some of our friends and ministry people around the region, and the sense of this New Day, New Era, and coming new decade confirmed that He had done a “quick work” after what had seemed to be some tedious times and seasons. We have been living and trusting His word in Psalm 103:1-5 for the past few years:
“BLESS the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, SO THAT YOUR YOUTH IS RENEWED LIKE THE EAGLE’S.”
Yes, we would have fainted, or lost heart, but the LORD sustained us and kept us. We really sense and believe that after some strange tests and fiery trials, we have pressed through and entered into another new dimension of His Rest and peace! Father has surrounded us with and answered us with the saving strength of His right hand and we are ready to move forward.
As we close out this year and this letter, we wanted to give opportunity as we do from time to time when asked about it, to post this online giving page from our blog. If you would like to make an end of the year offering, then just click on the link below to give. He has already opened up some new doors of travel and to extend the apostolic into new regions and areas, and we’re excited about this coming year of 2020.
We love and appreciate every one of you, and may Father give you great increase and insight as you continue to pursue his kingdom! Kingdom blessings!!!
Yours for the kingdom,
Jim and Pam
