Joshua 3:4b, 5- “…for you have not passed this way before. And Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify (consecrate) yourselves, for tomorrow thw LORD will do wonders among you.”

The last dozen years or so we have corporately been moving into the “Joshua Generation!” Of course, this is the shift from “Moses, the Man of God” to “Joshua, the new or next generation leader!” He was established and set in by Moses and the elders of Israel! He represents a “new breed”, a new order of ministry!! If you have begun or took a congregation/ministry in the last 5-10 years, you have by now noticed that “church or ministry that you saw before, is no longer the same!!” Under-statement, right?!? (smile)

We have not passed, or crossed over and gone beyond this way before! Intellectualism (human wisdom) and administration abilities alone will no longer accomplish the task! We must be “set apart” unto the LORD, and “set in” by proper eldership and relationship. If you are “pastoring” today and do not have a “prophetic-apostolic-presbytery” (PAP) of two or three apostolic-prophetic fathers/elders, you are no doubt experiencing tremendous frustration/anxiety over your current condition!

This is the day of sincere relationships and apostolic team-ministry that will help set order and peace in the assembly ministry!! Pastor, do not be afraid, “for God has not given you a spirit of fear (timidity), but of power and of love and if a sound mind!” (2 Tim. 1:7)

I. Timothy 4:14- “Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which as given you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.” (presbytery-body or council of apostles and prophets and teachers) JB.

The Tribe of the Lion of Judah! (Prophet, Priest, and King)

Amos 3:7,8- Surely the LORD God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The LORD God has spoken! who can but prophesy?
Rev. 10:7- but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.

Heb. 7:11-17- Therefore, if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need was there that another priest should rise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not called according to the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of law. For He of whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe, from which no man has served at the altar. For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood. And it is yet far more evident if, in the likeness of Melchizedek, there arises another priest who has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life. For He testifies: “You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.”See More

Process of Fatherhood and Sonship!!!

The “hearts of the fathers being turned to the children, and the hearts of the children being turned to their fathers”, is an ongoing process clearly revealed in the relationships that Apostle Paul had with other men of God. In Titus 1:4, Paul refers to Titus as a “true son” with common faith. A spiritual son is to share a common faith with their spiritual fathers. In Philemon 1:10, Paul appeals to Philemon for his son Onesimus who was begotten (won over to sonship) to the Apostle Paul while he was in chains suffering for the gospel. The word “begotten” comes from the greek word “gennao”, which is a term used of men who has fathered children. Onesimus was not just made a believer in Jesus Christ, but he was literaaly won over to Paul’s way of living! The process of fathering goes beyond leading someone to and instructing them in Christ. A man can biologically make a child and give the child instructions or advice, but Paul’s begetting of Onesimus refers to a father who lives such an example before the children that the whole heart of the individual has been won over to their way and example of living in Christ, so much that he bonded himself to Paul in the faith as Timothy was to Paul, becoming bonded servants together in the Gospel as a son with His father. (Pt. 1)

The process of the hearts of the fathers being turned to the children (sons) Part 2! In I. Timothy 1:2, the Apostle Paul declares Timothy to be a “true son in the faith.” I. Tim. 1:18, Paul charged (gave orders) to Timothy as a father to a son. In Philippians 2:22 Paul says concerning Timothy, “You know his proven character, that as a son with his father he served with me in the gospel.” A fat…her and son relationship in the Gospel goes far beyond what is meant by the term “mentoring.” To call my father “mentor” would have little intimate feelings for me. We don’t cry out to God, “Mentor, Mentor”! We cry out to Him, “Abba, Father!” While a spiritual father is to never take place our relationship with our Heavenly Father, our relationship to our spiritual fathers should reflect the love of our relationship with him. A mentor in Webster’s Dictionary is defined as “a trusted counselor or guide: a tutor; a coach.” Paul reveals the more intimate relationship that he had with those who were considered his spiritual children in the following passage of scripture: I. Cor. 4:15- For though you might have ten thousand instructors (counselors, guides, tutors, mentors) in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you (became your father) through the gospel.

The significance of our relationships is found in Fatherhood and Sonship! The Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world…In the fulness of the time God sent forth His Son…and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ…Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does n…ot have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also. (I John 2:22,23) What a pattern we have in relationships in the body of Christ, the Messiah, the Son of God!! I John 2:12-14- “I write to you, little children, Because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake. I write to you, fathers, Because you have known Him from the beginning. I write to you, young men, Because you have overcome the wicked one. I write to you, little children, Because you have known the Father. I have written to you, fathers, Because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, Because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, And you have overcome the wicked one.”

The Letter kills, but the Spirit gives Life!

At seems like most of us struggle at times being comfortable in our “own skin”, not just being inadequate but feeling inferior and intimidated! I know, I experience it,(inadequacy), most every day of my life. We are not sufficient in ourselves for sure (adequate) because our adequacy is from the Lord! And we do not have the “spirit of fear” (timidity) but the spirit of love and of power and of a sound mind!

So when we know “who we are” in Christ and have been affirmed and valued by a spiritual father (who represent the heavenly Father), we know longer have to struggle year after year with rejection, fear, or a lack of identity! This is the time to find your “apostolic alignment” in Christ, because when you embrace the grace of God in your life, you find love and peace and joy in your life! Sounds like the kingdom, doesn’t it?

Romans 14:17- For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.

The Crucible!

Many are perplexed by the circumstances that are surrounding them because of the abundance of revelation and insight they have received! You entered into 2013 with such expectation but it seems like you have found yourself in the fire! I found an article I wrote in Dec. of 2003 called “The Crucible!” The meaning itself should help many- Crucible- 1) An earthen vessel (clay pot) made of a substance that can resist great heat; 2) A severe test or fiery trial; 3) passing from one dimension to another (RELATIONSHIP=PROCESS + EXPERIENCE, which brings CHARACTER!

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. ( I. Pe. 4:12,13)

NEW “EMERGING RELATIONAL APOSTLESHIP!”

I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He would give you the “spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him”, the eyes of your heart or understanding being enlightened that we may the hope… of His calling, or the “hope to which we have been called”, that we may know the exceeding greatness of His power and His inheritance in the saints.. This Revelation will bring the Revolution that will bring a Reformation to the church as we know it. This emerging apostleship is not yesterday’s “apostolic ministry or network” but represents a “change of administration” that is not just building a ministry, but is truly relational so that an “apostolic company” will come forth. The apostleship is not about a man, it is about a team! The TEAM will them represent a mighty company of sons coming forth after the order of the FIRSTBORN OF MANY BRETHREN, JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD! For it is by Him and for Him, as the captain of our salvation and suffering, to bring forth “many sons to glory…” T.ogether E.veryone A.chieves M.ore……..!!!See More

PURPOSE OF THE ECCLESIA

ACTS 13:1-4- PURPOSE OF THE ECCLESIA!

Now in the church (ecclesia) that was at Antioch there were certain prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manean had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. As the ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away. So, (being sent out by the Holy Spirit), they went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus.

Notice, that to the reference of the “church at Antioch” (ecclesia) the list of the five men were “prophets and teachers.” They are meeting together, fasting and praying, when the Holy Ghost separates two of them, Barnabas and Saul (who would become Paul), to the “work” to which I have called them. This ‘work’ is the “apostolic” work that they were beginning to be sent out to the cities and regions. And who was it that sent them out? You say, well, it was the Holy Spirit! That’s right, but who laid hands on them and sent them? It had to be the other three prophets and teachers serving as a presbytery, who prophesied by the UNCTION OF THE HOLY GHOST, that sent them!

The Holy Spirit spoke through the prophetic word to launch the apostolic team of Barnabas and Saul. Soon, Saul would be called “Paul” (Acts 13:9) and they went preaching throughout the cities and regions. Later, the team would be called, Paul and Barnabas, signifying, that the leadership of the team would shift. The purpose was simply advance and extend the rule of the kingdom through the apostolic team.

Acts 13:49- And the word of the Lord was being spread throughout all the region.

Praise reports! 3 weeks ago we prayed for a man named Ben who has had 2 kidney transplants over the years. 3 weeks ago his organs began shutting down because of the dialisis but without the dialisis his kidney was shutting down. Things looked pretty bad but praise God that we walk by faith and not by sight! Ben was released from the hospital today leaving some drs scratching their heads. 🙂 Another woman diagnosed with cancer last week underwent more test this week and walked out of the hospital cancer free! HALLELUJAH! GOD WE GIVE YOU ALL THE GLORY, HONOR AND PRAISE!

Building Local Assemblies or Equipping Regional Centers?

There is a difference between a “local assembly” with a “church staff” and a “regional center” with an “apostolic team ministry!” Many times a local church staff is built around a “pastoral gifting” and “associate pastors” of “education, administration, evangelism, and worship, etc.” In an apostolic equipping center, the TEAM is made up of “regional apostles, prophets, and teachers” along with pastors (shepherds) and evangelists that are not ‘limited to the house’ but connected to develop the body of Christ and the saints. 1) Members in the body- I. Cor. 12:18- But now, God has set (arranged, placed) the members (saints/people), each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. (Functions in the local house) 2) Ministries in the church- I. Co. 12:28- And God has set (appointed, set in order) these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that, miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments (administrations), varieties of tongues. (Ordained in the city/region)

The “Ecclesia” is the governing body of apostles and elders (prophets and teachers) in a given region or city to oversee and watch over the body of Christ; “Koinonia” is the ‘fellowship’ of the saints with the elders and deacons in a local fellowship, and it’s all brought about by the “energeia” or the energy of the Holy Spirit through the working of His mighty power! This “threefold cord” is a working together or “synergy” that breaks the old cycles of religious tradition and releases the generational blessing in the body of Christ!! @churchwhichisHisbody.

I Co. 12:27,28- Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. And God has set (appointed) in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments (administrations), varieties of tongues.
