A true corporate unity such as kingdom hubs in a city/region, especially here in the greater Houston, Texas area, must transcend all man-made barriers, including creeds, cultures, gender, racial and religion!
All pre-conceived prejudices concerning power, politics, and popularity must die!! Only a true prophetic kingdom culture with apostolic alignment/assignments can prevail… we are in a new day and a new season to hear a NEW SOUND!
It will start first with councils and counsel of Apostolic fathers and City elders from a diverse section of the body of Christ!! It must also extend beyond our own ministry networks, affiliation, and “close friends” in ministry… it will “S t r e t c h” us and cause us to lose our own agendas and comfort zones. CAN YOU HEAR THE SOUND?

Counterfeit verse Authentic

Take time to read, very good by my friend Apostle Greg Crawford…

Greg Crawford

The problem we deal with in this hour is the overlap from that which is false and that which is true. The false has taken on the image of or likeness of that which is true. Much like a counterfeit painting the image is made to appear to be authentic, even to the point of deception. The better the counterfeit the greater the deception until the counterfeit can replace the original painting, and no one will notice.
To a large degree this is occurring through the mystics and new age influences. Many have adopted christian language and many move in spiritual principles. Many also have taken on the image of good wholesome actions and approaches. White magic, wicca and a host of other things are capturing a generation with promises of change, power, and a place of influence upon the earth. There are many cults masked with christian type faces…

Christ our Passover!

We all know that the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is an historical, physical and symbolic fact and truth. But when we make it just an event and/or a day or week to celebrate it, we lose the most powerful truth of all! The feast of Passover to us now is primarily a spiritual fulfillment of the lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Christ is the fulfilling of the Passover!!

You can figure out if there were two Sabbath days that week, if he was crucified on Wednesday or Friday, and keep the Sabbath with a Sedar meal to celebrate the feast. You can call it Easter or Passover, you can argue it was a literal three days and three nights or two days and He rose on the third day! (Friday-Sunday)You can argue days and Sabbath’s and moons but these are all types and shadows of Christ! (Col. 2:16,17)

When Jesus was coming towards John the Baptist in John 1:29, he announced Him, saying, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” He certainly wasn’t talking about a little wooly animal! 🐑Jesus is the fulfillment of the Lamb of God. 🔑🔥🔑

When Jesus was talking about himself as the bread of life and being the living bread which came down heaven, He wasn’t referring to natural bread. He said in John 6:51-53- “If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever: and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

He went on to say to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.” In verse 60, the disciples when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying, who can understand it?” Jesus told them, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:60-63)

Paul declared in I. Cor. 15:1-4 that the death, burial and resurrection of Christ is the whole basis for the gospel, and the whole point of the gospel is that He was raised from the dead, and if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen, and our faith is in vain, or empty!

So, do we keep the feast and celebrate His resurrection? Yes!! Earlier in I. Cor. 5:7,8 Paul declared this: Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you are truly unleavened. FOR INDEED CHRIST, OUR PASSOVER, WAS SACRIFICED FOR US. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, not with the leaven of malice and wickedness, BUT WITH THE UNLEAVENED BREAD OF SINCERITY AND TRUTH.

The Cost of the Kingdom: Grace is free, but not Cheap!

I think we all can agree that our Lord Jesus suffered an excruciating and horrible death on the cross. Yet He, who for the joy that was set before Him endured (went through) the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Heb. 12:2)

In a day where everyone wants the easy way, no hardships and no sacrifices, why do we enable people to feel so comfortable about their lives? What if we made the way to Christ difficult, like denying one’s self and taking up their cross and following Him daily?

What about counting the cost and serving others instead of ourselves? What if we made our services so focused on Christ that we didn’t care if they could find the building or whether we had children’s church or not, and no one to greet them at the door? What if we didn’t try to make the gospel or ourselves so attractive?

Now, my disclaimer here, everyone that knows me knows I’m not a hard, overbearing legalist trying to send everybody to hell! Actually, I’m just the opposite, I believe in mega grace and “mercy and truth” sweetly blended! I guess I’m saying why don’t we just “get real” and realize that the “search” for Him is not an easy path and most of us in reality find Him in crisis!! (2 Co. 4:6-8)

Now, to throw most of you off, what if when we come into the fellowship of the saints, there was so much love, so much pure hunger, and so much raw truth that people actually wanted what we had and saw that we were all just real people with real flaws?

Why don’t we make it hard for people to enter the kingdom by showing them how “uncomfortable” we all are in losing our lives and finding His life after losing all? Like, as in, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you. (Matt. 6:33)

And then, the real kicker: Why don’t we make it so easy for people to leave, that we love them so purely that no matter what they do or don’t do, there is no condemnation or offense?!? Then we can just let them go with no strings attached and without ulterior motives?

Just my musing in the midnight hour…. ❤️🦅😍
