FRONTLINERS AND FORERUNNERS, EQUIPPERS AND ELDERS, SENIOR LEADERS OF CHURCHES AND MINISTRIES

Jesus had just completed His most specific and absolutely loaded-with-substance times with the twelve.  He gave them the unfettered lowdown on what would transpire in the day immediately ahead.  Moments from now, He would be arrested, falsely charged, judged “guilty,” and then be crucified for the sins of the world.

He had little time—only a few minutes to check in with Father and download His heart once more.  He undoubtedly could almost feel those who would arrest Him breathing down His neck.

He passionately prayed for His disciples, those who would carry on His earthly mission.  At the core of His prayer, He added,
