NOT MANY FATHERS…

To say that we have had a “leadership vacuum” in the church and in the world, is definitely an understatement! A female correspondent commented the other night after Donald Trump’s address to the RNC, that “he is taking on the role and the place of a ‘FATHER’ to the nation, etc.”

That’s how desperate it is in the world situation because of a “lack of fathers” in the homes and the breakdown of the family unit, a man and a woman having sons and daughters! Yet, it all stems from a lack of “fathering leadership” in the kingdom of God, thus representing the Father God in relationship to the church as a mother! Because we have not many fathers, we are perpetuating “spiritual immaturity” in the church and keeping children babes! (I. Cor. 4:15)

We have the closing words of the Old Testament about the “hearts of the fathers being turned to the children”, and the hearts of the children turned to ‘their’ fathers”, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse. (Mal. 4:5,6) We know that’s why John the Baptist came on the scene as the forerunner to Jesus in the ‘spirit and power’ of Elijah, “to turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children, and the disobedient to the attitude of the righteous”; so as to make a people prepared for the Lord. (Luke 1:17)

Where are we today? The Father is restoring that mantle and message back to the church through a prophetic people, so that the apostolic mandate can once again ring throughout the kingdom! We must get a revelation of THE FATHER, and then we must cry out, “Give us fathers, or we die!” Without fathering leadership in the land, the sons will be in disobedience, and the children will be given place to violence and disarray, without the identity, purpose, vision, inheritance, and blessing of the fathers!!
