The Mystery revealed through the kingdom!

In reference to what the LORD is saying today concerning Houston, we are beginning to see the “end of the old” and the “beginning of the new!” (Is. 42:9; 43:18,19) Linking the revealing of the secret, or the mystery of God from Amos 3:7,8 and Rev. 10:7, then comparative to the principle of fulfillment (sevens) with Rev. 11:15; 12:10-12; Acts 3;21; Co. 1:13; Heb. 12:27,28)

Amos 3:7,8 (NKJV)- Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals (To uncover, reveal, open, lay bare, strip away, denude, expose, disclose, unveil) His secret (mystery) to His servants, the prophets. A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken? Who can but prophesy?

Rev. 10:7 (NKJV)- …but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, AS HE DECLARED TO HIS SERVANTS THE PROPHETS.

Rev. 11:15 (Message)- The seventh angel trumpeted (sounded). A crescendo of (loud) voices in heaven sang out, ‘The kingdom of the world is now the kingdom of our God (Lord) and His Messiah (Christ): He will rule forever and ever.

Rev. 12:10-12 (message)- Then I heard a strong voice out of heaven saying, Salvation and power are established: kingdom of our God, authority of His Messiah: The Accuser of our brothers and sisters thrown out, who accused them day and night before God. They defeated him through the blood of the Lamb and the bold word of their witness. They weren’t in love with themselves; they were willing to die for Christ. So rejoice, O heavens, and all who live there, but doom to earth and sea, For the devil’s come down on you with both feet, he’s had a great fall; He’s wild and raging with anger, he hasn’t much time and he knows it.

(Related scriptures):

Acts 3;20,21- and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive (hold) until the ‘times of restoration’ of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world (time) began.

Col. 1:13, 14 (Message)- God rescued us from dead-end alleys and dark dungeons. He’s set us up in the kingdom of His Son he loves so much, the Son who got us out of the pit we were in, got rid of the sins we were doomed to keep repeating.

He. 12:28,29 (Message)- Do you see what we’ve got? An unshakeable kingdom! And do you see how thankful we must be? Not only thankful, but brimming with worship, deeply reverent before God. For God is no an indifferent bystander. He’s actively cleaning house, torching all that needs to burn, and He won’t quit until it’s all cleansed. God Himself is FIRE!!!

The Apostolic Call and Career…

I. Tim. 1:18- This charge, I commit son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may “wage the good warfare…” (Apostle Paul) warfare- strateia- The apostolic career, military warfare, “to contend with carnal inclinations; one of hardship and danger…” “fight the good fight.”

2 Co. 1:1-2 (Message)

And now a personal but most urgent matter; I write in the gentle but firm spirit of Christ. I hear that I’m being painted as cringing and wishy-washy when I’m with you, but harsh and demanding when at a safe distance, writing letter.

Please don’t force me to take a hard line when I’m present with you. Don’t think that I’ll hesitate a single minute to stand up to those who say I’m an unprincipled opportunist. Then they’ll have to eat their words. (Love that) 🙂

2 Co. 10:3-8 (Message)

The world is unprincipled. It’s dog-eat-dog out there! The world doesn’t fight fair. But we don’t live or fight our battles that way–never have and never will. The tools of our trade aren’t for marketing or manipulation, but they are for demolishing that entire massively corrupt culture. We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ. Our tools are ready at hand for clearing the ground of every obstruction and building lives of obedience into maturity.

The New Apostolic Campaign 2014/2015- Corporate Anointing for Apostolic Convergence!

Wow, what an awesome start to the month of June, as we kicked it off with a great weekend in Bellville! Pam and I can’t say enough about the generous hospitality of Pastors Lynn & Linda Burling and the wonderful people of CFC!! From the leadership training and fellowship on Saturday till the great fellowship at breakfast today, we were thoroughly blessed with this weekend of “Giving and Receiving!” The grasp of the kingdom of God and receiving of the apostolic was paramount by the leadership and fellowship, and something powerful was released in the atmosphere!! The word ‘fellowship’ implies sharing, partaking, communion, communication, and partnership! We are blessed to be in partnership with this great church and local ministry team led by Pastor Lynn!!

This week will be one of the most significant weeks in the life of our ministry and relationships, as we begin preparing for the celebration and culmination of “40” years of the progressive word and work of the Spirit of God! This June 7, 2014, will be forty years of grace and mercy, preparation and process of Christ in my life since that eventful night that forever changed my life. June 7, 1974 will be the night that changed not only my life, but my whole family in the loss of my younger brother, Jerry, not quite 15 years old. I know there must not be any loss more life altering than the loss of a child and I know my parents were never the same. My sweet mother carried the sorrow from that loss I’m quite sure all throughout her life. The tragedy of the night was not that five young men in age from 14-21 had been drinking and partying that led to a fatal car accident, but that we had been to a church Youth Rally 35 miles away and were just trying to get home in a driving rain storm!

Yet, in the sovereignty of The Almighty God, He turned around that which was planned for evil and made it for Good! He took that which could have brought defeat and turned it into Victory! The “30” days that I spent in that Shreveport, La. hospital recovering from massive facial injuries and trauma have turned out to work for my good and made me what and who I am in His kingdom today! I have no doubt that the Father will fulfill every good work and word to fulfill His will in my life and ministry. That month brought about my encounter with The Lord Jesus Christ that has always been in the forefront of my life as I’ve endeavored to serve Him and fulfill the course of ministry that He gave me. There’s nothing I’ve done to deserve the grace and mercy that He bestowed on me, just simply according to His own purpose and grace He spared me, saved me, and gave me a future and a hope, an expected end in Him! (Jere. 29:11; 2 Tim. 1:8-10)

It is from this premise that after 25 years in 1999, the “realignment and reconnection” in divine relationship and destiny, The Lord Jesus established in Pam and Me what He called, an “apostleship of Grace” and called us into these seven facets of apostolic life and ministry: 1) The Call, 2) The Career, 3) The Campaign, 4) The Commission, 5) The Confirmation, 6) The Company, and 7) THE APOSTOLIC CONVERGENCE! (Acts 26:16-18; Romans 1:1-5; I. Co. 15:9,10; 2 Co. 4:1; Gal. 1:15,16; I Tim. 1:18-20; 2 Tim. 2:1-3) This June completes 15 years of the apostolic campaign that began in July 2013 through June 2014! It completes 35 years of active service of ministry, and “40” years of training and “fighting the good fight of faith” (wage a good warfare- apostolic career, campaign & warfare.)

Thus, in the completion of this forty years, we will be launching a “brand, new” apostolic campaign that sums up this incredible journey of going through the wilderness, trials and testings, probation and process that has brought about a new dimension, “July 2014/June 2105”, the Corporate Anointing for a NEW ERA! We are seeing and sensing a great change and transformation of the grace of God and His kingdom that is “above and beyond” anything we could ask or think for! it is exciting, yet sobering to see what the “heart of the Father” has brought forth so that we can see the “mighty hand of God” in operation in the extent of the direct proportion of His love and grace in our lives! This whole year (July 2013-June 2014) we have been in “birth again” to see the formation of Christ come forth in His fulness in what He has prepared for us! So, we covet your prayers and support in this endeavor, so that we may know and comprehend with all saints, “TO KNOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST THAT PASSES KNOWLEDGE AND THAT WE ALL MAY BE FILLED WITH FULLNESS OF GOD.” (Eph. 3:19)

Eph. 3:20,21- Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. God bless and keep you and thank you for your love and prayers! Jim & Pam

The Apostolic Career!

Jim Becton

1 Tim. 1:18-20- (Message)
I’m passing this work on to you, my son Timothy. The prophetic word that was directed to you prepared us for this. All those prayers are coming together now so you will do this well, fearless in your struggle, keeping a firm grip on your faith and on yourself. After all, this is a fight we’re in.
There are some, you know, who by relaxing their grip and thinking anything goes have made a thorough mess of their faith. Hymenaeus and Alexander are two of them. I let them wander off to Satan to be taught a lesson or two about not blaspheming.
Great passage from Paul concerning his son, Timothy, about keeping the faith and “waging the good warfare”- strateia- “the apostolic career”, which is where the real fight of faith is! The apostolic career is not just a “profession”, or saying I have 20 or 30 years in my career so I can now retire! No, the apostolic career is a lifestyle of spiritual “military service”, the apostolic career (as one of hardship and danger): — warfare.
This warfare is as a soldier serving in a military campaign; To Paul and Timothy it was executing the apostolate (the apostleship) with its arduous duties and functions, to contend with carnal inclinations. Go to War-fare. It is about dealing with the mindsets and strongholds that hold men in fear, religious traditions, and even heresies, or those being diverted from truth. When we see the apostolic as contending with carnal minds and inclinations, then we can understand what the “good fight of faith is.”
We will be looking at this more extensively over the next few weeks, as we prepare for our apostolic campaign beginning in the month of July. We will look at the scripture concerning the apostleship and how territories are where the greatest battles are, because men are “territorial!” The apostolic career is NOT something we choose, it is the calling and choosing of the Father that through apostolic fathering relationships, we can begin to take back the land through inheritance, blessing, and birthright. May we continue in “fighting the good fight of faith…”

Concerning, Continuing, and Considering!

Romans 1:1-5-  Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God which He promised before through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures, CONCERNING HIS SON JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name,…

Acts 28:30,31-  Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him, preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things CONCERNING THE LORD JESUS CHRIST WITH ALL CONFIDENCE, NO ONE FORBIDDING HIM.

Acts 19:8-10-  And he went into the synagogue and spoke boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading CONCERNING THE THINGS OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD.  But when some were hardened and did not believe, but spoke evil of the Way before the multitude, he departed from them and withdrew the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus.  And this continued for two years, so that all who dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

Acts 8:5,12-  Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them…But when they believed Philip as he preached the things CONCERNING THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, both men and women were baptized.

Acts 1:3- …to whom He (Jesus) also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and SPEAKING OF THE THINGS PERTAINING TO AND CONCERNING THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

Acts 2:42-  AND THEY CONTINUED STEADFASTLY IN THE APOSTLE’S DOCTRINE AND FELLOWSHIP, IN THE BREAKING OF BREAD, AND IN PRAYERS.

I. Co. 1:4-9-  I thank my God always CONCERNING YOU FOR THE GRACE OF GOD WHICH WAS GIVEN TO YOU BY CHRIST JESUS, that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, so that you come short in no gift, waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.  GOD IS FAITHFUL, BY WHOM YOU WERE CALLED INTO THE FELLOWSHIP OF HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.

Heb. 3;1,2- Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, CONSIDER THE APOSTLE AND HIGH PRIEST OF OUR CONFESSION, CHRIST JESUS,  who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all his house.

THE RESTORATION OF THE APOSTOLIC

More and more understanding of apostles and apostolic ministry coming forth…

holyfireorg's avatarThe Flaming Herald

The Church began as a house of prayer (Acts 1 & 2). It is God’s purpose for the Church to always remain a house of prayer. Every gospel bears witness to the zeal for God’s house being a house of prayer (Mat 21, Mk 11, Lk 19, John 2). The four gospel witness is very, very significant since only 8% of the content in John’s gospel appears in the others.

When God’s house ceases to be a house of prayer, it then by default becomes a place of business. Actually, Jesus stated it much stronger when He called it a den of thieves. This is one of the strongest indictments against the modern day Church.

Apostles were the first ministry gifts appointed by Jesus. He appointed them after a night of prayer (Lk 6:12). Isn’t it interesting how the apostolic is released through prayer? We see the pattern again in…

Transitioning Into A New Day

stimsonsr's avatarScott Stimson Ministries International

It is a new day of rest from our own labors it is the sabbath of Sabbaths the day of the Lord and a day where there is no more struggle or mixture it is a day to be entered into now by faith.

Here are some examples and changes that we will experience as we move from an old covenant mixture into a new covenant reality.

 Old Covenant                                             New Covenant

It was about us ————  It is about Him.

If I will He will— Jesus is the eternal I will

About our obedience————————About our union with Him

  Still hungry————Satisfied  in Him

  Seeking———Finding

  futuristic——————It is finished

Looking for revival——We are the revival

  Asking——————Receiving

  Knocking——————— An open door

  He revives us——————We are…

WAIT WAIT WAIT

prophetic destiny's avatarLiving Faith Realities

I originally posted this to my Blogger Blog on January 12, 2014, but it bears re-posting here. I went to sleep last night praying in the Spirit. I woke up this morning hearing the Lord saying WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! Then this Scripture came to me:

“Then the Lord answered me and said: ‘Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.’”Habakkuk 2: 2 & 3 NKJV

So often when we get a Prophetic Word we have a tendency to run off immediately with it thinking it is for right now. As I look back over my life I can look at many Prophetic Words that I…

Apostolic RELATIONAL Fathers!

It seems to me that “apostolic fathers” or spiritual fathers should not be such a ‘heavy reavy” today, something hard for many ministers or sons to understand!! Many will always bring up past hurts and abuses, but it is time to move on from the past, even “forgetting the things which are behind and reaching forward to the things which are ahead…” (Phill.3:13b)

It is a new day and a new ERA (E.merging R.elational A.postles) that there are those called to ‘father’ not from and old mindset but from a renewed mind of spirit and truth. To say we do not need this is to say that we do not need a vital truth that is strongly supported by scripture. Apostle Paul penned this powerful passage in I. Co. 4:14-16 under divine inspiration:

I. Co. 4:14-16 (Nasb)- I do not write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children. For if you were to have ‘countless tutors’ ( instructors, boy-teachers, guides, coaches, mentors) in Christ, yet you would not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel. Therefore I exhort you, be imitators of me.

I. Co. 4:14-15 (Message)- I’m not writing all this as a neighborhood scold just to make you feel rotten. I’m writing as a father to you, my children. I love you and want you to grow up well, not spoiled. There are a lot of people around who can’t wait to tell you what you’ve done wrong, but there aren’t many fathers willing to take the time and effort to help you grow up. It was as Jesus helped me proclaim God’s message to you that I became your father. I’m not, you know, asking you to do anything I’m not already doing myself.
