Like Father, Like Son…

Y

YET YOU DO NOT HAVE MANY FATHERS…I. CO. 4:15

I found this great pic of my apostolic father, Dr. Mark Hanby, (a few years back, lol) and thankful that over 40 years ago , He “became my father in the gospel…” (I. Co. 4:15b) Anything I am today is credited to this man who poured “vision, identity, purpose, inheritance and blessing” into my life! Long before he wrote the classic “You Have Not Many Fathers”, He was the premier voice and pioneer of apostolic fathering and generational Blessing!! True fathers do not just raise sons, they raise sons who become fathers who carry on the lineage and legacy of generational maturity and synergy. (2 Tim. 2:2)

The voice still rings in my ears of the Elijah/Elisha message and relationship when Elijah is about to be taken up and he tells Elisha, “If you ‘see’ me when I am taken up, (if you see me “eye to eye”, or literally if you see what I see) , you can have a double portion of my spirit.” When he was taken up, Elisha cried out, “MY FATHER, MY FATHER”, not my “prophet my prophet or my “mentor, my mentor.” Elisha had to pick up the “mantle” and run with it and know that he was not called because he was qualified, He was “qualified because he was called.”

FATHERS are often times flawed and have many scars, quite literally and spiritually, as I have encountered in my life of service. ❤😓 In my journey these last 44 years, I have found the way very difficult and filled with many dangers and confrontations, but through the years of divine impartation and apostolic alignment with this father, we have endured, persevered, and overcome through Him who is more than a conqueror! My own divine encounter at the age of 17 and visitation from the LORD JESUS, to the subsequent calling, choosing and commission, I have found that I am my father’s son! Like father, like son….

Before fathering was “cool” and apostolic relationships understood, this man paid the price and prepared the way for not just my generation, but the successive generations who now hunger after Fathers and mothers for wisdom and insight. The “weight” of glory that Papa Mark carries and the anointing and grace on his life is “unparalleled” and mighty with revelation and insight. Since we have moved from “performance preaching” to relational impartation”, I can now stand on His shoulders and help prepare the way of the Lord for the generations coming. I give honor to whom honor is due…

I do not have “ten thousand instructors” (boy teachers) but I do have one father in the gospel…

The kingdom Out In the Open!

Why don’t we get it out in the open!

No one knows exactly what is taking place in the ‘kingdom’ right now, and much to our dismay, apostles and prophets are back to the “drawing board”, to base zero, and leaning on the heart of the Father for His Word! The Holy Spirit will lead and guide us into “All Truth!” (St. John 16:13)

The prophets get a “foretaste” in what He is saying, so that we might have a “taste for” the reality of the kingdom, the present day truth of Jesus Christ!

Rev. 10:7- But in the days of the voice (sounding) of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He Has declared to His servants the prophets.

The very basic meaning of the word ‘kingdom’ from the Greek “basileia” is “kingship, sovereignty, authority, rule, especially of God, both in the world, and more specifically “in the hearts of men.” A kingdom always requires a king, as the kingdom of God does with King Jesus!

We might even say, more than we care to admit, that it is an “invisible” kingdom because it requires faith in the living God and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ! Yet, the kingdom is very real and manifesting “One Heart at a time” in the hearts and lives of His Sons and daughters.

We don’t physically see Holy Spirit, we don’t see how the wind blows, but we certainly feel the results of it! (John 3:8) We have a powerful connection to our Father because of the rule and reign of the Lord Jesus Christ in our lives!! He is Lord of all and over all!

Romans 1:20 (KJV)- For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

So, even though we don’t understand it all, we are without excuse to seek, see and enter the kingdom of God! He is invading the earth with His kingdom! His intention is that we inherit the earth and that His saints possess the kingdom, as is our portion and lot!!

This doesn’t bode well with our religious system, even our present day charismatic/Pentecostal world, because we always have to have an answer! We have to act like we know what is going on, when, in reality, we are stumbling ourselves right into the kingdom, even through many pressures and hardships…
(Acts 14:22b)

Why don’t we come back to the place of not only preaching the kingdom, but speaking of the things of the kingdom until we are ready to submit to His will, His kingdom!! We must learn of Him, cease from our own works and labor and be diligent to enter into His rest! (Heb. 4:9-11)

Many mature apostles and prophets of the last move (up until the last few years), have passed on to their reward and all of a sudden, we’re left with a lot of generic prophecies and false starts in a premature apostolic reformation!

We have been relying too much on the words of a very few gifted men and women that we have forgotten that He is reserving Himself to manifest through a “corporate anointing”, Christ in You, the saints, the hope of Glory! (Col. 1:27)

Let us come back to the foundation and then let us allow Him to catapult us to the forefront of His kingdom, His wisdom and insight for this hour! We need to return to the “mountain of the LORD”, inquire of Him and be taught of His ways once again! (Isa. 2:2-4)

Finally, let us press into the kingdom and persevere “until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of All His Holy prophets since the world began…” (Acts 3:19-21)

Heb. 12:25-29- See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying,

“Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.”

Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.

For our God is a consuming fire.

Amen and Amen!!!

A kingdom culture with a purpose!

Can a group of kingdom people come together with a culture of honor for mutual love and submission?

Can they also receive and respect leadership as functions and not as lords over Gods people?

Can there be such an organic, life-giving flow that money, buildings, and positions do not hold them together, but the “unconditional love” of Father holds each one accountable and responsible for their own walk?

Yes, it can because we see it forming without titles and events and a hierarchy and the mutual faith and Love holds us together in peace!

No, this is not an “exclusive group” that holds on to everybody or has a rigid structure where no one can leave or be released! Servants serve out of duty but Sons serve out of freedom and liberty! Fathers, young men, and children are all growing in the grace and Love of our Father!

It is not about how many times you meet a week or month or how many special services you have to keep the saints coming, it’s about vision and purpose and destiny being fulfilled in all the Sons of God!!

So if it is services, programs and uniformity without diversity and spontaneity you want, you probably won’t like the organic flow of an
Acts 2:42 meeting- And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, and breaking of bread and prayers….

Below I’ve shared with permission from Apostle/Pastor Mark D Wallace a mission statement and vision that he’s presenting to the Fellowship he leads in Oklahoma:

Where honor is present, connections can be established. Where connections are established, love can flow. Where love flows, an atmosphere of unity becomes the prevalent climate and in that climate…individual’s “gifts and callings” are activated and empowered and corporate power and authority begin to manifest consistently.

-Remove honor, connectivity, love, unity or apostolic empowerment of the saints from the equation…and at the very best all you will ever see is sporadic and inconsistent results that will eventually lead to frustration and questions.

Convergence Of The Ages

I wrote on a convergence of the ages several years back . This is by my good friend, Apostle Michael Fram, and is a great Word! Thanks Apostle Michael! Blessings!!

prophetic destiny's avatarLiving Faith Realities

A few nights ago, I was attending a special Regional Meeting that an Apostle friend of mine was hosting. During a time of open free-flowing worship Holy Spirit spoke up inside me and said: “This is a Convergence of the Ages.” I immediately reminded Him that James Goll had released a ‘Word’ a few years back about the convergence of the ages. To which He replied: “Son, you don’t understand…”

Convergence 2

Upon pressing Him, He explained to me that what Brother Goll was referring to was a convergence of all the moves of Restoration that the church had been through; like – The Voice of Healing, The Latter Rain, The Charismatic Renewal, The Word of Faith, The Prophetic, and The Apostolic, all coming into a culmination of one Last Day move where they would all be flowing together.

He went on to explain that this convergence of the ages was about…

Culture of HONOR!

I just wanted to continue to talk about the “culture of honor” in the kingdom! The other day I hesitantly posted our blog page “Online Giving” even though I had been asked about it. I say hesitantly because I’m not comfortable in posting about finances. We use it primarily for the convenience of ministry sons and daughters who choose to give through our PayPal account. Monday as I was praying about it, I just sensed that I needed to share it here on my news feed. Well, it triggered a definite response from some that our posts have ministered to and because I’m getting great reports of God already moving on their behalf, I decided to share this. We came in agreement with those who sowed and released apostolic honor for a mutual “agreement of faith” because in the kingdom “Honor” is not “one-way” but mutual.

It is not just about giving or receiving, it’s about “giving and receiving!” Paul quoted the Lord Jesus in Acts 20:35b, “It is more blessed to give than to receive!” This is not just for individuals but this is for churches as well. Apostle Paul in his time of being imprisoned wrote to the church in Pnilljppi in Phil. 4:15-17- “Now you Philipians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated (shared) wirh me concerning “giving and receiving” but you only. For even in Thessalinica you sent aid once again for my necessities. Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account.” In other words, they set up a “debit and credit” account for him to draw on to help supply his needs. He went on to say in verse 19- “And My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in Christ Jesus.” Vs. 20- Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.

This is the culture of honor that’s being restored in the kingdom. As churches, leaders, fathers and sons continue to honor God through the law of the kingdom, sowing and reaping, giving and receiving, we will see the back of poverty and lack broken off the people of God. Many have been manipulated through “financial schemes” and wrong motives through those who use this law to become a “law unto themselves” but it does not negate the biblical principle of how godly relationships should function in.

Thank God, as we become more and more “kingdom-minded”, the true Ekklesia will arise from the ashes of deceit and greed and lack and truly operate in this great kingdom principle of Honoring one another in the body of Christ! We once again appreciate those who responded but more than that we rejoice even more in the beauty of seeing Gods people blessed and increased because of another powerful kingdom principle- the power of agreement in prayer! Matt. 18:19, 20- “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. “For where two, even three are gathered together in My name, I am the third one in the midst (middle) of you.”

Many blessings and may this month of May be the most fruitful and overflowing of increase, abounding in the grace and favor of our Lord Jesus Christ!

YOURS FOR THE KINGDOM,

JIM AND PAM

Open doors
Recently, while ministering in another city, we were staying in a hotel. The second day I happened to notice the slip cover for the room key. On the front it said “Doors are opening that you have not even imagined.” May the Lord work His wonders to open doors that have not even entered the imagination of His people for His Kingdom purposes.

“[ Pray for OpenDoors ] Pray diligently…” (Col.4:2, Msg)

A New Reformation Today?

When Paul came to Corinth in Acts 18, he went into the synagogue as was his custom. The synagogue represented the church system of that day and the religious tradition of the fathers. Fast forward almost 2000 years, the religious “church world” system of today represents what we have seen as truths that have been revealed the last 500 years!

Paul preached Christ and his kingdom to them and was opposed and rejected. What did he do? He went to the house of Justus, who worshiped God and whose house “was next door the synagogue.” (I. Co. 18:7) Then verse 8 days, “Then Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his household. And many of the Corinthians, hearing, believed and were baptized.”

Now, in that day, here was this new religion and the Jews still looked at themselves as the people of God! Again, come to this day: Did Paul “split” the assembly or did the gospel of the kingdom separate those being called out? And, how should apostles handle this today?!?

Possessing the Promises….

I no longer view the promises of God as something I’m waiting for.

2 Co. 1:20- “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.”

According to Gal. 3:14-18, the blessing of Abraham came through Christ Jesus and given to us as an inheritance of promise. Heb. 6:12b, 15 says we are to “imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises….And so, after he (Abraham) had patiently endured, HE OBTAINED THE PROMISE.

2 Peter 1:3,4 says “as His divine power has given to us ALL THINGS that pertain to life and godliness,… through which have been given to us “exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature…”

Finally Heb. 10:35,3/6 says, “Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, YOU MAY RECEIVE THE PROMISE.”

We believe, receive, inherit, obtain, and possess the promises, much as we do the kingdom. He has already given them to us and it’s the Fathers good pleasure to give us the kingdom. Luke 12:32

Graham Cooke, The church has left the Building!

The church is on a collision course with Kingdom right now, and it’s not about how can we fit the Kingdom into what we are doing. Forget that! Because God is not going to lower Himself to fit in to what you are doing. What He is going to do is He is going to expand our understanding of the Kingdom and then stretch everything that we do as a community so that we fit everything that heaven wants to do here on earth.
