Apostolic Warfare…

Young and old apostles alike, fathers and sons, before you leave 2018, I would encourage you to study and observe I. TIM. 1:18:

“This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, THAT BY THEM YOU MAY WAGE THE GOOD WARFARE, Greek strateia- “military service” i.e. (fig.) The apostolic career (as one of hardship and danger);

▪to serve in a military campaign; to execute the apostolate (with its arduous duties and functions), to contend with carnal inclinations; a soldier, ( go to) war-fare…

☆”strateia”is a root word from where we get our English word strategy- “strategos” which means “a general…”

▪a plan of action or policy designed to achieve a major or overall aim;
▪the art of planning and directing overall military operations and movements in a war or battle.
▪a plan for military operations and movements during a war or battle…

Mighty Warrior

You were led into a relationship with Jesus where you no longer fit in anywhere.  What thrilled others left you scratching your head, wondering how they could be so easily satisfied.
You feel the evil and the blasphemy.  You are grieved to see God’s name and honor smeared both inside and outside the church.  You wondered “how long Lord?”  How long before I can take up the sword of the Lord and bring wrath down on demons?
You have wondered what is happening to you.  It seems that everything the enemy has is being thrown at you.  Many have pulled away from you—including those you have trusted for years—not understanding the path that you have chosen.
People made big promises to you that turned out to be a puff of smoke.  You were left empty at the very moment you believed a great breakthrough was coming.
God promised you something…

WHY GOD IS RUINING YOU

mariomurilloministries's avatarMario Murillo Ministries

Many Christians and Pastors are in deep turmoil. God has begun a deep work in them that has made them strangers without a country. They don’t know where they fit. But they do know that they are done with business as usual. Let me ask you, is a deep work of God in you ruining you?

Are you done with the world system—especially the way it operates in some much church culture.  You leave church thinking, “this is not it, there’s something bad wrong here.”  You can’t stomach the glitzy entertainment centers anymore. Again, I am talking about both pastors and parishioners…and there is a growing number of them.

They are angry at ego-centric preachers with grandiose, expensive and carnal visions that have zero to do with winning souls.  They are sick of being distracted—even derailed from their first love.   Disciples are abandoning attraction churches models in droves—something revolutionary is…

IT IS TIME

Another great word by Mario Murillo… blessings!

mariomurilloministries's avatarMario Murillo Ministries

It is clear.  As madness spreads—and the church wrings its hands—it is time for the eagles to leave the turkey yard.  You know who you are.  There’s a fire inside you can’t put out.  You are ruined for church incorporated.
For too long, you’ve been told to be a good little birdie.  “Don’t ruffle any feathers.”  You can’t stomach the stale kernels they toss at you.  You must have fresh meat.  All around you, the turkeys peck at the ground.  All you can see is the clouds and skies where you belong.
Your home is in the glory.  Your place is alongside the heroes of faith that changed the course of nations.  Survival teaching sickens you.  The idea that tepid happiness is the goal enrages you.
You made the mistake of looking at old YouTube videos.  You saw Oral Roberts.  You saw Kathryn Kuhlman.  You saw Smith Wigglesworth.  You jumped…

I AM NOT A PROPHET

Very refreshing, very powerful….

mariomurilloministries's avatarMario Murillo Ministries

I am not a prophet. I am something else. God ordered me to warn the American churches of an impending disaster—to rebuke rampant immorality: abandoning the Word of God, and political hypocrisy. God ordered me to expose the tyranny of the left and wake up as many drowsy Christians as possible.

Ironically, few criticized me when I preached against gang violence, poverty, heroin and crystal meth. But they attack me for exposing the worst gang and the most addictive narcotic: leftist socialism.

But I am not a prophet! Amos said, “I am not really one of the prophets. I do not come from a family of prophets. I am just a herdsman and fruit picker. But the Lord took me from caring for the flocks and told me, ‘Go and prophesy to my people Israel.”-Amos 7:14

I was just minding my own business winning souls. Leading addicts, gang bangers, and students to…

Invading Enemy Territory – Part II

Part 2 from Apostle Sam Hansen that is so good. Be sure and read the first part!!

Samuel and Kathleen Hansen's avatarThe Bread blog

In the last installment I shared that whether or not you were being commissioned as an apostle or by apostolic leadership, you were being sent on assignment to invade enemy territory.  Rome called their generals “apostles” and they were sent to establish beachheads and sieges around cities.  They accomplished this by cutting off food, water and communication to and from the city.  The size and reputation of the Roman army instilled fear among the cities’ leaders and inhabitants.  After the city was conquered Rome sent governors, also called apostles, so that they could teach the people the “Roman way” and change the culture of the city to prevent rebellion against Rome.

My desire is to look at Ephesians 3:8-12 in the New American Standard version, clarify the meaning of some words and state the lessons for establishing a beachhead in the territory you are assigned to, even before you going…

Facebook-20160103-080207

Disclaimer – I know this Blog is long but you never ask a teacher/preacher to talk about or write about something and expect it to be short.  Hence, this Blog will be in two parts.

You are sitting in your prayer closet worshipping, praying and seeking the Father’s will for your life.  A thought or idea pops up in your mind and as you meditate on it the Lord begins to impress upon your heart that He is calling you to a specific place and ministry – a place where you can minister as you were trained.  There is a feeling of  excitement because the God of our universe has a specific plan for you.

You continue to pray and seek His face regarding the assignment, the preparation, timing, etc.  Then you are released to share it with your spouse, family, leadership, and Brothers and Sisters that will keep this…

New wine for a new and fresh wineskin!

It had not been a lack of the 5 ascension gift ministries operating in a church, many churches have had that even with a pastoral paradigm! It has actually been a loss of relational Fathers and Sons in generation synergy! (Young and old joined together…)

What we have failed to grasp is that City/Regional apostolic leaders have a different perception of how the Regional Ekklesia functions! It is not like a church staff and having fivefold leaders, but it is a higher perspective of the kingdom!

Those with the translocal and trans-generational insight and wisdom will see the kingdom as the higher goal and the gifting secondary to the corporate anointing! The emphasis is on the leaders facilitating the growth of the body through equipping and empowering the saints in ministry and for ministry! (Works of service)

They will see that “evangelists” and “elders” are the key to mobilizing and motivating the city through the local assemblies and prophets and teachers speaking the purpose and vision of the citywide Ekklesia!

Apostles and senior elders (prophets/shepherds) will have an “overall view” of the kingdom to help strategize and synergize from their base of operation and allow apostolic centers to rise up without the structure of a local assembly!

The base or hub will simply function from a grace of revelation and foundation that will automatically release the Sound of the Lord through corporate vision and destiny! Then the “manifestation” of the (full grown) sons of God will be revealed in the earth realm!!

There will not be a centralized hierarchy because the translocal, Regional apostles and elders (Fathers/spiritual parents) will see it and sit from a “throne-room”’perspective that Christ has built His Ekklesia and the kingdom rules over all!

Perspectives from 3am watch!

Blessings, grace and peace!!

MOVING INTO A HIGHER DIMENSION OF FAITH, LOVE, AND POWER

Another good word…

holyfireorg's avatarThe Flaming Herald

In a recent private prayer session the Spirit of God directed us to scriptures on evil spirits and prayer and fasting.

The root of man’s rebellion against God is that they cannot see for they’ve been blinded by the enemy. For example, no one in their right mind would drive a car 100 mph off a cliff to a certain destruction and death. And yet, in reality, that is what most of mankind is doing when they refuse to surrender to Christ. Prayer and fasting can break through that state of mind by dealing with the evil spirits that blind and bind such people.

One day the disciples asked Jesus why they could not cast out a certain devil.

Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move…

Old School? Or “New Wineskin…”

Let me preface this post with a couple of points! I felt a little nostalgic today so maybe it was just because I was in all day and not being able to talk. (I am much better, it seemed my throat began to clear up early evening , praise God! Thanks for all your prayers.)

All right, we don’t travel like we used to, to minister in different states and our region regularly. And, we pastored for many years as well and I know what travelling ministers experienced! I look out there today and I guess I have a little “old school” still in me, 😉, and actually there was a lot of great points in the “old school” pastors.

One thing, old school pastors loved “recommending” to their pastor friends those who blessed their assembly, helping them to stay in a region for a good period of time!! There was a great spirit of camaraderie and cooperation so that evangelists and prophets and apostles could help pour out and impart in the city and region.

Secondly, and I state this very delicately, that the old school pastors and leaders understood what it took to be out on the road! Yes, there are many that just see travelling ministry as a “job” and must start lining up churches because it helps them fill out their schedules. But those who are “sent”, those who have a special commission to serve as ambassadors and emissaries of the kingdom, are not out there for any other reason than to “spend and be spent” for the gospel sakes. They have mutually established relationships with local leaders, not just as “guest speakers”, but as those who are received to come “in and out” of a region, city, and speak into the “corporate” body of Christ, the assemblies.

So, with that in mind, these old school but truly “kingdom” leaders knew how to finance the apostolic meetings. Nowadays, so many “lead pastors” are so afraid to talk about money, that they do not even give the saints an opportunity to give a “love offering”! They just have a “standard amount” they’re going to give, and if they do receive an offering, they just pad the treasury. (Not all, but some.😉) And, they would genuinely encourage and exhort the people to give liberally, not thinking that “we can’t afford to have a meeting right now.” 😩🤐

So, with no agenda, because we do not travel out very much these days, and this is by no means trying to pick on or point out those we do know, because those we have regularly ministered to in times past, were always very generous. I suppose it’s just because what I hear others saying out there and seeing what’s going on with the bigger ministries, that it would be great to see translocal apostolic regional teams and ministries being able to join with these new local apostolic and shepherding ministries to see “regional transformation” and kingdom harvest for the Ekklesia! (I suppose this is my rant for being in all day, lol)

This new revolution for a reformation is certainly a new wineskin, as local assemblies are shifting from a pastoral paradigm to apostolic centers and hubs. That is awesome and as we move more and more into this, apostolic/prophetic fathers can have more than just meetings, they can literally co-labor with relational ministry sons and shepherds who know how to honor and walk in humility, not viewing the ministry as just some “business venture.” Pam and I actually so enjoy this time of helping to activate and impact sons and daughters in their ministry, with many home groups beginning to open up across the region. It’s just a joy to see the Ekklesia Rising as a factor and force for the kingdom of God!

There, I’m through and if any of my friends need us to come in over the next few weeks and months…. gotcha, just kidding!! 😂😅😇

Love and blessings,

Jim and Pam
